Our Face Painters

Our professional face painters have over a decade of combined experience and a gentle touch to ensure a fun and comfortable experience for all kids.

Our Services

Our Face Painters will add a splash of creativity, color, and a touch of fairy tale magic to your event!


 We offer a wide range of intricate designs and quick, crowd-pleasing options, along with glitter tattoos that will delight kids and adults alike, leaving everyone thrilled and smiling!


Our hourly rate is $140 for the first hour and $100 for every following hour after that + HST. Travel fees may apply depending on location.

Other Important Information

We use only professional, cosmetic-grade paints from Fusion Body Art and TAG, ensuring they're safe for skin. Our brushes and sponges are cleaned using industry-standard procedures to maintain proper sanitation and prioritize your child's safety.


For health and safety, we do not paint anyone who appears ill, has skin irritations or cuts. We also refrain from painting the faces of children under 2, offering arm and leg designs instead. Additionally, we require parental or legal guardian consent before painting any child.

Frequently Asked Questions

 Our rates are $140 + HST for the first hour and $100 + HST for each additional hour after that.


We typically recommend planning for about 10 children per hour for the best experience. However, we can usually accommodate up to about 14 children in one hour if needed by offering quicker designs that still look great. The exact number depends on the complexity of the designs and how quickly children are ready for their turn. If you expect a larger group, we may recommend booking additional time to ensure everyone has a chance to participate.


 Please contact us as soon as possible to let us know that your group size has changed. We will advise whether the new number of children can still be accommodated within your booked time or whether additional time would be recommended. We would hate for any children to miss out, so we always want to make sure your booking duration is appropriate for the number of kids attending.


 Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to send us design ideas. We will review them and determine whether they are appropriate for the duration of your booking and the number of children attending, as some designs take longer than others. Whenever possible, we are happy to accommodate requests, but we do need to know in advance so we can advise whether they are realistic within your booked time.


Yes, absolutely. We can tailor designs to match your party theme. We will select designs that best fit both the theme and the duration of your booking. If you would like us to include one or two themed designs, please let us know when booking and we will gladly include them in the menu whenever possible.


 No. Setup time is outside of your booked hours. Our face painters typically arrive about 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to set up so they are ready to begin right on time.


 Ideally, please provide 1 table and 2 chairs. If you are unable to provide these, please let us know in advance and we will bring our own. Even just the chairs are extremely helpful, as tables are easy for us to transport but chairs can be more difficult. If you do not mention otherwise, we will assume a table and chairs will be available.


To place a booking, please contact us and provide the following information:

• Date of your event

• Preferred start time

• Event location

• How many kids are you expecting to have at your event

• Age range of the children


Once we receive this information, we will check availability.


If we are able to accommodate your request, we will send you a booking form to fill out and instructions to submit the $50 deposit to hello@happykidspartyco.ca.


Please include a note with your e-transfer indicating what the deposit is for. For example:

“Princess Party – April 19 – Emma’s Birthday.”


Once the booking form and deposit are received, we will send you a confirmation email. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation.


After your booking is confirmed, you typically will not hear from us again until a few days before your event. At that time, we will send a confirmation email to review the details once more and ensure everything is correct (address, time, etc.).

Of course, if you would like to reach out before then, you are always welcome to contact us. Please note that due to high email volume, non-urgent emails may take up to 48 hours to receive a response. Urgent matters are always prioritized and responded to within 24 hours.


 We work with professional face painting brands including Fusion Body Art, TAG Body Art, and GTX Body Art. These are top-tier professional products used by face painters worldwide. All products are cosmetic-grade, hypoallergenic, and meet the highest quality standards for professional face painting.


 Absolutely. Once all the children have had their turn, adults are welcome to get face painting if there is still time remaining in your booking window. We always prioritize children first, as they tend to be more impatient and excited for their turn. That said, if you would like to book face painting specifically for an adult event, we are happy to accommodate that as well.


 Yes, with some limitations. We do not paint directly over areas affected by eczema, rashes, or any irritated or broken skin. However, if a child has eczema on one part of their body (for example their hands) and would like face painting elsewhere, that is absolutely fine.

 Our paints are hypoallergenic professional products. If a parent is concerned about sensitive skin or allergies, we are happy to perform a small patch test. This involves applying a small brush stroke of paint to the skin at the beginning of the party and allowing the child to walk around with it for 15–30 minutes to ensure there is no reaction.

In our experience, reactions are extremely rare, but we are happy to offer this option for peace of mind.


 If you cancel more than 1 month before your event, your $50 deposit will be refunded.

 If cancellation occurs less than 1 month before the event (even by one day), the deposit is non-refundable.

However, we understand that unexpected situations happen, especially with children. If illness or another serious situation arises, we are happy to offer a one-time opportunity to move your booking to a new date, provided we have availability.


 Not necessarily. If your party is several hours long, we usually recommend starting face painting about 30 minutes after the party begins. This allows guests time to arrive, settle in, and socialize first.

However, if your party is short and you want to maximize painting time, starting right at the beginning is perfectly fine.


Your $50 deposit is deducted from the total cost of the service. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

We do not accept cash. Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card through the invoice we provide. E-transfer is preferred, but credit card payments are always welcome.


 At this time, we do not offer discounts for combining services. Most services require separate entertainers with specialized training, so all services are priced individually.


 Face paint should be removed with makeup remover whenever possible. Professional face paint behaves similarly to highly pigmented makeup.

If makeup remover is not available, soap and warm water works very well. Please avoid using baby wipes or simply wiping with wet wipes, as this may smear the paint rather than remove it fully and can make it appear like the skin is stained.


 Tips are always appreciated but never expected. If you feel your artist did an exceptional job and you would like to tip them, you are welcome to do so. We kindly ask that tips be given directly to the artist in cash, as this is the easiest way for them to receive it.


Our minimum booking within Durham Region ( Oshawa, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Clarington, Bowmanville, Newcastle, Uxbridge + Port Perry ) is 1 hour. If your event is located within Durham Region, you are welcome to book just 1 hour.

For events outside of the cities and towns listed above, the minimum booking time is 2 hours.
