Within Durham Region, the minimum booking time for a Superhero character appearance is 30 minutes.

Durham Region includes:

• Oshawa

• Whitby

• Ajax

• Pickering

• Clarington (Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle)

• Uxbridge

For locations outside Durham Region, the minimum booking time is 1 hour.

A travel fee may apply depending on the location.

Superhero parties are typically best suited for children ages 3 – 8.
We always tailor the party to the kids' age group and modify activities if needed for the best outcome.

No problem at all. Just let us know in advance.

If the number of children increases significantly, we may slightly adjust certain activities so that all children still have a chance to participate and enjoy the experience.

Absolutely. Parents and family members are always welcome to join. For younger kids ( around 3 y/o ), parental participation might be very beneficial.

Yes, absolutely!
You are welcome to choose which superhero attends your party based on availability.

We currently offer characters such as Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider (Spider-Gwen), Wonder Woman, Superwoman, and more. You can book a single superhero or combine multiple characters for an even more action-packed experience.

If you have a specific superhero in mind, just let us know when inquiring and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Yes! You are absolutely welcome to mix and match multiple superheroes for the same party visit.

Additional superhero pricing is:

• 30 minutes: $100 + HST per additional superhero
• 60 minutes: $150 + HST per additional superhero
• 2 hours: $270 + HST per additional superhero

These rates apply when multiple superheroes attend together during the same party timeframe and visit.

 Short answer: not really.

Long answer: it depends a little on the party duration.

For our 30-minute superhero package, there are essentially no setup or space requirements. The superhero will arrive right at the scheduled time and begin entertainment immediately. We can work with almost any small open area.

For our 1-hour superhero package, there may be a small amount of preparation involved depending on the activities planned. Most commonly, this relates to the superhero scavenger hunt. In that case, parental assistance is required, as the superhero will provide clues/items upon arrival that a parent would help quickly hide in pre-discussed locations around the party space. Because of this, we do usually discuss the layout of the space with you ahead of time. Other than that, there are no major setup requirements.

For our 2-hour superhero package, there may occasionally be additional setup considerations depending on the group size, age range, activities chosen, and party location. These details are always discussed with the client ahead of time on a case-by-case basis.

That said — rest assured, we are extremely flexible and there is virtually no space we cannot adapt to.

Not ideally. If your party lasts several hours, we often recommend scheduling the character appearance 30 minutes after guests arrive so children have time to settle in first.

However, if your party timeline is shorter, starting right at the beginning works perfectly well.

 That’s completely normal.

Our entertainers are experienced children’s performers and know how to gently include shy children at their own pace.

Children are never pressured to participate and are welcome to join when they feel comfortable.

 To book a Superhero Party, please contact us with the following details:

• Date of your event
• Preferred start time
• Event location (please also indicate whether the party will be held indoors or outdoors)
• Preferred superhero character(s)
• Desired party duration

Once we confirm availability, we will send you a booking form along with instructions for submitting the deposit to hello@happykidspartyco.ca.

Your booking is officially confirmed once:

• the booking form is completed
• the deposit is received
• and you receive a confirmation email from us 

Yes. We typically check in a few days before your event to confirm all the details.

Of course, you are always welcome to reach out if you have questions before then.

Your deposit is deducted from the total party price, and the remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

We currently accept:
• e-transfer
• credit card payment through invoice

Please note that we do not accept cash payments for party balances.

Cash tips, on the other hand, are absolutely welcome and preferred over electronic tipping. That said, tips are never expected and are always 100% optional.

At this time, we do not offer bundled discounts because most services require a separate professional entertainer.

Our services are priced individually.

If you cancel more than 1 month before your event, your deposit will be refunded.

If cancellation occurs less than 1 month before the event, the deposit is non-refundable.

However, we understand that unexpected situations happen. If illness or another serious circumstance arises, we are happy to offer a one-time opportunity to move your booking to a new date, provided we have availability.

In addition to private birthday parties, we also provide entertainment for:
