Face Painting Pirate

Ultimate Pirate Experience (All Three Pirates)

The Ultimate Pirate Experience includes a Face Painting Pirate, Glitter Pirate, and Games & Activities Pirate all attending at the same time. This creates a truly magical experience where children can enjoy multiple pirate activities throughout the celebration.

• 1 Hour – $550 + HST
• 2 Hours – $890 + HST

Please note that the Ultimate Pirate Experience is only available as a 1-hour or 2-hour package and is not offered as a 30-minute visit.

Travel fees may apply for some locations outside our primary service area.

Face Painting Pirate

Our Face Painting Pirate adds a touch of adventure to any celebration by transforming children into pirates, mermaids, sea creatures, treasure hunters, sharks, unicorns, superheroes, and more through professional face painting. Face Painting menu for the day is customizable.

This package includes:

• Professional face painting
• A variety of child-friendly designs (pre-determined based on group size, duration, and preferences)
• Pirate-themed guest interaction
• Photo opportunities with the pirate

The Face Painting Pirate can typically accommodate approximately 10–14 children per hour, depending on the complexity of the designs selected.

Glitter Pirate

Our Glitter Pirate brings sparkle and treasure-worthy fun to your event with glitter tattoos and glitter gel applications.

This package includes:

• Glitter tattoos and/or
• Glitter gel applications
• Choice of colours and designs
• Pirate-themed guest interaction
• Photo opportunities with the pirate

The Glitter Pirate can typically accommodate approximately 10–20 children per hour, depending on the services selected.

Games & Activities Pirate

Our Games & Activities Pirate focuses on interactive entertainment and adventurous fun customized to the age and interests of the children attending.

Please note that for some cities outside of Durham Region, as well as parts of North Durham, longer minimum booking times may apply depending on location and travel requirements.

In these areas:

• Face Painting Pirate may require a 2-hour minimum booking.
• Glitter Pirate may require a 2-hour minimum booking.
• Games & Activities Pirate may require a 1-hour minimum booking.

 Our Pirate Parties are designed primarily with children ages 3–9 in mind, as this is typically the age range that most enjoys pirate adventures, treasure hunts, interactive games, storytelling, face painting, glitter tattoos, and character entertainment.

That said, there is no age limit for pirate fun!

We regularly entertain younger children, older children, teens, families, and even adults at birthday parties, school events, daycare celebrations, community events, festivals, corporate family days, restaurant events, and family gatherings.

The best pirate package for your event depends less on age and more on the type of experience you’re looking for. For example, younger children may enjoy simple pirate games, storytelling, and character interactions, while older children often prefer treasure hunts, team challenges, adventure games, and more active entertainment.

Our entertainers always tailor the activities to the age range, group size, interests, and energy level of the guests attending. Whether you’re planning a pirate birthday party for preschoolers, a school-aged treasure hunt adventure, a family-friendly community event, or a multi-generational celebration, we’ll customize the experience to suit your crew.

From toddlers to grandparents, everyone is welcome to join the adventure and become an honorary pirate for the day!

No problem! We understand that guest counts can change as the event gets closer.

If your group size increases after booking, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments to supplies, staffing, and activities.

Depending on the package selected and the final group size, we may recommend booking additional time, modifications to the activities, or an additional entertainer to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

We kindly ask that you provide your best estimate when booking and notify us of any major changes as soon as possible.

We’re always happy to work with you to make sure every child feels included and has a magical experience.

Absolutely!

Parents, grandparents, and other adult guests are welcome to join in the fun. Whether that means participating in games, dancing along with the children, helping with crafts, taking photos, or simply enjoying the magical atmosphere, we love seeing the whole family get involved.

For face painting and glitter services, adults are also welcome to participate if time permits. At larger events, children will always be prioritized first, but if there is time remaining, we’re happy to include adults as well.

In most cases, very little setup is required on your end.

For Games & Activities Pirate visits, we simply recommend having an open area where children can comfortably gather, move around, and participate in games, dancing, treasure hunts, and activities.

For Face Painting Pirate and Glitter Pirate services, we require:

• One table
• Two chairs per pirate

If your package includes a craft activity, we may ask that tables and chairs are available for the children to sit and participate comfortably.

Weather & Outdoor Events

Pirate Parties can be held indoors or outdoors. However, outdoor events cannot be accommodated during rain, snow, or other severe weather conditions. If your event is outdoors, please let us know at the time of booking. We strongly recommend having an indoor backup location available whenever possible.

Other than providing adequate space for the activities and any required tables and chairs, there is very little for you to prepare. Our pirates will arrive with all the supplies needed for the services included in your package.

Not necessarily.

If your party is several hours long, many families choose to schedule the pirates to arrive around 30 minutes after guests arrive so children have time to settle in first.

However, if your party timeline is shorter, starting the pirate visit right at the beginning works perfectly well.

To place a booking, please contact us and provide the following information:

• Date of your event

• Preferred start time

• Event location

• Which package you would like

• Preferred duration of the visit

Once we receive this information, we will check availability.

If we are able to accommodate your request, we will send you a booking form to fill out and instructions to submit the $50 deposit to hello@happykidspartyco.ca

Please include a note with your e-transfer indicating what the deposit is for. For example:

“Princess Party – April 19 – Emma’s Birthday.”

Once the booking form and deposit are received, we will send you a confirmation email. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation.

Please note: For last-minute bookings made less than 7 days before the event, the standard $50 deposit does not apply. Instead, full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm and reserve your date and time.

Yes. After your Pirate party booking is confirmed, you will typically hear from us again a few days before your event.

At that time we send a confirmation email reviewing the event details to ensure everything is correct.

You are always welcome to reach out anytime if you have questions before then.

Your $50 deposit is deducted from the total price of the party. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

We do not accept cash. Payment can be made by:

• e-transfer

• credit card through the invoice we provide

E-transfer is preferred, but credit card payments are always welcome. We do not accept cash payments for the remaining balance.

Please note: For last-minute bookings made less than 7 days before the event, full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm and reserve your date and time.

At this time, we do not offer discounts for combining services.

Each service requires its own professional entertainer and preparation, so services are priced individually. 

If you cancel more than 1 month before your event, your $50 deposit will be refunded.

If cancellation occurs less than 1 month before the event, the deposit is non-refundable.

However, we understand that unexpected situations happen. If illness or another serious circumstance arises, we are happy to offer a one-time opportunity to move your booking to a new date, provided we have availability.

 In addition to private birthday parties, we also regularly provide character entertainment for restaurants, festivals, community events, corporate events, grand openings, and holiday celebrations.

Character meet-and-greets, mascot appearances, and interactive entertainment are a wonderful addition to many types of events and can help create a memorable experience for children and families.
