 We offer several Ohana-themed character options depending on the type of experience you’re looking for.

Stitch (Mascot Character)

The Lilo & Stitch duo is our most popular option because it combines the excitement of a mascot appearance with interactive entertainment. While Stitch is available for photos, hugs, dancing, and guest interaction, Lilo can actively engage children by leading games, activities, and group participation.

Important Note About Mascot Visits

For the comfort and safety of the performer, all appearances involving Stitch include built-in cool-down breaks.

• 1-hour mascot appearances include one 10-minute cool-down break.
• 2-hour mascot appearances include three 10-minute cool-down breaks, typically scheduled approximately every 30 minutes.

During cool-down breaks, guests are welcome to continue interacting with Lilo (if booked as a duo), take photos, enjoy other event activities, or grab refreshments. These breaks are already included in the package duration and pricing.

Travel fees may apply for some locations outside our primary service area.

 Stitch (Mascot Character)

Stitch is perfect for meet-and-greets, surprise appearances, photo opportunities, birthday parties, family events, community events, and corporate family days.

During his visit, Stitch can:

• Pose for photos
• Give hugs and high-fives
• Dance with guests
• Interact through gestures and playful antics
• Participate in activities led by another entertainer

Please note that Stitch is a mascot character and does not speak. Because mascots cannot talk, they cannot lead games, activities, storytelling, or structured entertainment.

Lilo (Entertainer)

Lilo is a live character entertainer who can actively engage children and guests throughout the event.

Depending on the age of the guests and event setting, Lilo may include:

• Meet-and-greet opportunities
• Photos with guests
• Interactive games
• Dancing and movement activities
• Storytelling
• Group participation activities
• General guest engagement and interaction

Because Lilo is a speaking entertainer, she is able to lead the experience and adapt activities to the group.

When booked together, guests enjoy the best of both worlds: the excitement of meeting Stitch and the engagement of a live entertainer.

The package may include:

• Grand character entrance
• Meet-and-greet opportunities
• Individual and group photos
• Hugs, high-fives, and character interaction
• Interactive games led by Lilo
• Dancing and movement activities
• Storytelling
• Group activities and guest participation
• Birthday recognition and celebration moments

While Stitch participates in the fun, Lilo serves as the host of the experience, leading activities, engaging with guests, and ensuring the event remains interactive from beginning to end.

For birthday parties, the Lilo & Stitch duo is generally the option we recommend most, as it provides the fullest and most engaging experience for children and families alike.

 Within Durham Region, the minimum booking time for Ohana parties is 30 minutes.

Durham Region includes:

• Oshawa

• Whitby

• Ajax

• Pickering

• Clarington (Bowmanville, Courtice, Newcastle)

• Uxbridge ( excluding certain areas )

• Scugog ( excluding certain areas )

For locations outside Durham Region, the minimum booking time is 1 hour.

A travel fee may apply for certain locations depending on distance.

 Ohana Parties are suitable for all ages and are a wonderful addition to birthday parties, family celebrations, community events, corporate family days, festivals, restaurant events, and other special occasions.

Guests of all ages tend to enjoy meeting Stitch, taking photos, receiving hugs and high-fives, and participating in the fun with Lilo and Stitch together.

One thing to keep in mind is that some children under the age of 2 may be intimidated by mascot characters simply because of their size and appearance. While many toddlers absolutely love Stitch, it is not uncommon for very young children to be a little shy or nervous around mascots at first.

For this reason, we recommend that parents allow younger children to approach Stitch at their own pace and comfort level.

Overall, Ohana Parties are designed to be enjoyed by guests of all ages, from toddlers and school-aged children to teens, parents, and grandparents alike!

No problem at all. Just let us know in advance.

If the number of children increases slightly, it usually does not affect the structure of the party. If the group size increases significantly, we may slightly adjust certain activities so the princess can comfortably engage with all of the children.

 Absolutely. Ohana is for everyone! Parents and family members are always welcome to participate in the dancing, games, and photo opportunities during the party.

 No special setup is required for most Ohana Parties.

Our characters simply need a safe space to enter and interact with guests. If your package includes games and activities led by Lilo, we recommend having a clear area where children can comfortably gather and participate.

For indoor events, a living room, party room, community centre, restaurant party space, or similar open area works perfectly. For outdoor events, a backyard, park shelter, or other suitable gathering space is ideal.

We do not require access to power, music equipment, tables, or chairs unless specifically discussed in advance for a custom event.

For mascot appearances, we do require having access to a private area nearby where Stitch can take any necessary cool-down breaks away from guests. This can be a separate room, office, staff room, vehicle, or another private space.

Weather & Outdoor Event Policies

Outdoor appearances cannot be accommodated during rain, snow, or other severe weather conditions. If your event is outdoors, we recommend having an indoor backup location available whenever possible.

Please note that during hot weather, Stitch appearances are limited to a maximum of 30 minutes outdoors. Mascot costumes become extremely warm, and for the health and safety of our performers, longer Stitch appearances must take place indoors or in a temperature-controlled environment.

Other than that, there is very little for you to prepare—we bring the magic, and you enjoy the memories!

YES! Mascot costumes have limited visibility and mobility, so active adult supervision is REQUIRED throughout the visit. Children must not hit, kick, push, pull or climb on the mascot.

Children sometimes see mascots as fantasy characters or giant plush toys and may not realize that hitting, kicking, pushing, pulling or jumping on the mascot can actually hurt the person inside. These actions can also cause the entertainer to lose their balance and fall, potentially causing injury and even resulting in the mascot head coming off — ruining the magic for everyone.

Please remind children to interact gently with the mascot. If unsafe behaviour occurs, the mascot or accompanying entertainer will signal or ask the organizer for assistance. If the behaviour continues and the visit cannot be performed safely, we may need to pause or end the mascot portion of the visit early.

Not necessarily.

If your party is several hours long, many families choose to schedule the princess to arrive 20–30 minutes after guests arrive so children have time to settle in first.

However, if your party timeline is shorter, starting the princess visit right at the beginning works perfectly well.

To place a booking, please contact us and provide the following information:

• Date of your event

• Preferred start time

• Event location

• Which package you would like

• Preferred duration of the visit

Once we receive this information, we will check availability.

If we are able to accommodate your request, we will send you a booking form to fill out and instructions to submit the $50 deposit to hello@happykidspartyco.ca

Please include a note with your e-transfer indicating what the deposit is for. For example:

“Princess Party – April 19 – Emma’s Birthday.”

Once the booking form and deposit are received, we will send you a confirmation email. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive this confirmation.

Please note: For last-minute bookings made less than 7 days before the event, the standard $50 deposit does not apply. Instead, full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm and reserve your date and time.

 Yes. After your Ohana party booking is confirmed, you will typically hear from us again a few days before your event.

At that time we send a confirmation email reviewing the event details to ensure everything is correct.

You are always welcome to reach out anytime if you have questions before then.

Your $50 deposit is deducted from the total price of the party. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.

We do not accept cash. Payment can be made by:

• e-transfer

• credit card through the invoice we provide

E-transfer is preferred, but credit card payments are always welcome. We do not accept cash payments for the remaining balance.

Please note: For last-minute bookings made less than 7 days before the event, full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm and reserve your date and time.

At this time, we do not offer discounts for combining services.

Each service requires its own professional entertainer and preparation, so services are priced individually. 

If you cancel more than 1 month before your event, your $50 deposit will be refunded.

If cancellation occurs less than 1 month before the event, the deposit is non-refundable.

However, we understand that unexpected situations happen. If illness or another serious circumstance arises, we are happy to offer a one-time opportunity to move your booking to a new date, provided we have availability.

 In addition to private birthday parties, we also regularly provide character entertainment for restaurants, festivals, community events, corporate events, grand openings, and holiday celebrations.

Character meet-and-greets, mascot appearances, and interactive entertainment are a wonderful addition to many types of events and can help create a memorable experience for children and families.
